1. INTRODUCTION

StripMe+ enabled items can get stripped in stages by you, by everyone or by your chosen ones. They support Genitals auto show/hide per strip-stage, Bidirectional Custom Emoting per strip-stage, and on-the-fly sheer & glow changes. Everything can be turned off.

Their names in the inventory start with “HEC SM” to distinguish them from HEC RO (Rip Off), HEC WA (WetAware) and regular HEC items.

They come with a separately worn, invisible controller prim. Put on the controller prim, and StripMe+ gets enabled. Take off the controller prim, and StripMe+ gets disabled (see below for details and glitch fix).

Not all HEC items are StripMe+ enabled, only the ones advertised as such (look for the HEC StripMe+ logo or relative text on their ads).

 Limitations

  • Do NOT wear multiple sizes of a StripME+ cloth at the same time, else they will stuck to Fully Stripped and will stop working (you will then have to unpack fresh copies from the boxed pack – if you don’t keep the boxed packs, you can redeliver them in-world or on Marketplace). For example, do NOT wear a Maitreya and a Legacy size of the same cloth at the same time.
  • Tested on official Second Life Viewer & Firestorm Viewer (may not work as intended with other viewers).
  • Emoting text-lines are auto truncated to roughly 250 English letters (or to roughly 150 non-English letters).
  • Emoting and Access List capacity depend on the available memory (shown at the top of the ➜ ACCESS submenu). The script does check, but better not push it too close to the limits (if you ever get a Heap/Stack Collision script error, unpack a fresh copy of the controller-prim).

 Menus Overview

This section is intended only as a Quick Reference, after you have read the full docs.

The StripMe+ menu fires up when the controller prim gets touched (clicked). The owner gets the full-blown menu, while non-owners get a simplified version containing only the strip and dress related options.

2. CONTROLLER PRIM

StripMe+ items come with an invisible controller prim, worn separately. It works on touch for all sizes of the clothing, but only when it is already worn (else it lets you know in your private local chat).

When there is more than one controller prim in a StripMe+ product, ONLY one of them should be used at any given time. See Note 2 in the AUTO GENITALS section for details.

When you need StripMe+ functionality, you should wear both the cloth and the controller prim. It does not matter which one you put on first, but it does take them a few seconds to get in sync. Take off the controller prim, and StripMe+ gets disabled. Put back on the controller prim, and StripMe+ gets enabled (see the Attaching/Detaching section below, for important details).

 Clickable Area

The controller prim also defines the clickable area that triggers the StripMe+ menu. The prim is unrigged and modifiable, so you are free to adjust it according to your body shape (and/or other clickable wearables).

Adjusting requires basic SL editing skills but you probably won’t need it, unless you are an involved SL user (using clickable wearables, odd shapes, etc).

If you are interested, have a look at the corresponding section of HEC RO (for StripMe+ you do NOT need the “Edit linked” option enabled in the Edit window).

 Attaching / Detaching

The controller prim works only when it is worn (attached on your body). Every time you put on the controller prim, it takes a few seconds to check whether the clothing is also worn, and if it is, it gets reset to Fully Dressed. Additionally, all supported worn genitals get hidden.

However, SL can get glitchy when it comes to objects communication! When you put on the controller prim or the cloth and you click, if it tells you to wear your cloth even when it is already worn, give it a few seconds and click again. If that doesn’t work, take off the cloth or the controller prim, put it back on and give it a few seconds before clicking.

As a side note, genitals hiding and stage resetting to Fully Dressed is also happening every time you put on the cloth itself. This ensures that even if you detach a Fully Stripped cloth, it will be visible the next time you put it on.

Regarding detaching the controller prim, you have 2 options:

  1. Detach it via the NO MORE menu button, if you want the cloth and the worn genitals to be reset to Fully Dressed.
  2. Detach it directly from the inventory, if you want the cloth and the worn genitals to stay at their current state.

In either case, after detaching the controller prim, the StripMe+ functionality gets disabled.

As a side note, detaching the cloth itself does NOT hide the worn genitals.

3. ACCESS MODE

StripMe+ gives the owners full control on who will have access to their clothing. By default, only the owner does.

The currently active access mode is shown at the top of the main menu. It can be changed via the ➜ ACCESS sub-menu. Its options are pretty self-explanatory, but here is a brief round up just in case.

Use the mutually exclusive options Owner ☒, Public ☐, Group , or List ☐ to set the access mode to owner-only, everyone, group-only or list-only, respectively.

Group-only means that access is granted only to people having the same active group-tag with the cloth-owner.

List-only means that access is granted only to members of the cloth-owner’s access List:

  • Use the Show list or Clear list buttons to display or erase your access List.
  • Use the ➜ Add list or ➜ Del list buttons to selectively add or delete people from your access List. Both options open an input box, where you can type in & Submit the SL legacy names of the persons (1 per line). If you open the input box by accident, you can Cancel out by leaving  the box empty and hitting the Submit button.

Adding people in your access List requires them to be currently present in the sim. Also, the currently available memory is shown at the top of the Access menu, giving you a hint about the available room in your access List (an average SL legacy name may occupy 100-150 bytes of memory). The script does its own check, but is better not to get that close to the limit.

4. AUTO GENITALS

Auto Genitals is a way too popular feature of HEC RO, so it was only logical to also implement it for StripMe+.

Supported 3rd-Party Mesh Genitals (always use their latest versions)

• Aeros (Cocks: AxiomDariusMagnusNemoXerxes)
• ASA (The Physics Cock)
• LittleFish (Nipples)
• Sensations (Anus) (Clit) (Cock) (Nipples: MaitreyaSlink) (Vagina)
• Sinful Needs (Osiris Mesh Cock)
• VAW XTC (Ass: malefemale) (Cock) (Nipples: malefemale) (Vagina {Rigged})

Note 1: Some 3rd-party genitals (like Aeros for example) may ask you to add StripMe+ in their allowed-devices list, before they let it operate on the genitals. Normally you only need to do this once, but it is up to the genitals creator really.

Note 2: Some 3rd-party genitals require an extra script besides the StripMe+ one (like Aeros for example). For those genitals we provide a 2nd StripMe+ controller prim, meant ONLY for customers using those genitals. Do NOT use both controller prims at the same time!

Genitals Behavior

Use the Genitals ☐/☒ toggle option in the StripMe+ menu, to turn auto-genitals On and Off (if you do not use any of the supported genitals, turn it off to save processing time).

Assuming the option is enabled and you are wearing any of our supported 3rd-party mesh genitals, then your genitals (anus, nipples, vagina and pennis) will get auto-hidden or auto-shown, according to the current strip-stage.

Which genitals will participate in the stripping process is defined by HEC, on a per strip-stage basis (and of course it  is different for different StripMe+ products). For example, if a strip-stage exposes your boobs but not your tushy or your vagina, your nipples will auto-show and your anus & vagina will auto-hide when that stage is reached. You get the idea!

There are few more things you should be aware of:

  • Every time you put on either the controller prim or the cloth, the strip-stage gets reset to Fully Dressed and any worn genitals get hidden.
  • When you detach the controller prim via the NO MORE menu button, the cloth gets reset to Fully Dressed, and any worn genitals get hidden.
  • When you detach manually the controller prim, the cloth and the worn genitals stay at their current state.
  • When you detach the cloth itself, any worn genitals stay at their current state.

5. CUSTOM EMOTING

StripME+ supports custom, bi-directional emoting per strip-stage, meaning that for each strip-stage it can emote different text when the stage is reached while stripping and different text when the stage is reached while dressing.

All the emoting is kept in a modifiable notecard, located in the controller prim Contents. Do NOT change the name of the notecard, else emoting will get auto-disabled. Feel free though to edit its contents (see the guidelines below).

Use the LOAD Emotes button in the StripMe+ menu after editing the notecard, to activate the changes. This means you can replace or edit & save the notecard on-the-fly, and load it via the menu.

The menu also provides the option to turn Emoting On and Off.

 Multi Language Themed Emoting

Although only 1 emoting notecard is used, with just a little effort you can actually realize Themed Emoting!

There are mainly 3 ways:

  • Keep in your inventory copies of the controller prim with a different emoting-notecard in each of them, rename the prims accordingly, and wear whichever controller prim is most suitable for you current RP situation.
  • Use just 1 controller-prim but with many notecards in it, each named differently for different situations (leave the original one “hec-StripMe-emoting” intact). At any given time, you can then edit the controller-prim on-the-fly (no need to take it off), rename the original notecard to say “hec-StripMe-emoting.ORIGINAL“, rename one of the other notecards to the default name “hec-StripMe-emoting“, and use the LOAD Emotes menu-button to activate the change.
  • Keep in your inventory differently named notecards for different situations. You can then copy & paste the contents of such an inventory notecard into the contents of the controller prim notecard. Or you can drag the inventory notecard into the controller-prim, delete the original notecard from the prim, and rename the new one to the default name (at the time of writing, the default name was “hec-StripMe-emoting”). In either case, use the LOAD Emotes button in the StripMe+ menu to activate the changed emotes.

There is also nothing stopping you from writing your emoting notcard(s) in any language, not just English (note however that non-English texts require roughly twice as much memory as their English counterparts).

 Emoting Notecard Guidelines

StripME+ clothing come with a modifieable, ready-to-use English emoting notecard, located in the Contents of the controller prim.

The notecard name should NOT be changed (else emoting will get auto-disabled), but its contents are meant to be edited if you choose so, and loaded via the LOAD Emotes button in the StripME+ menu.

Emoting altogether can be turned On and Off from within the menu.

We are going to use the picture above as an example (click on it to enlarge it). It shows the emoting notecard of a 4-stages StripMe+ cloth.

First let’s get out of the way some basics:

  • Empty lines and lines starting with // are ignored
  • @tou and @own may be used as placeholders for toucher‘s and owner‘s SL first name, respectively
  • Lines longer than approximately 250 English letters (or 125 for other languages) get auto-cut
  • Keep the lines short, to lessen the chances of script memory overflow

Strip-stages are always sorted from Fully Dressed (first stage) to Fully Stripped (last stage).

Hence, the first and the last line in the notecard relate to the Fully Dressed and Fully Stripped stages, respectively! However, intermediate stages relate to 2 lines each: 1 for reaching the stage while stripping, and 1 for reaching the stage while dressing.

This makes a total of 6 useable lines for our 4-stages example (if the cloth had say 6 strip-stages, the notecard should have 10 useable lines: 1 for the first stage + 2*4 for the intermediate stages + 1 for the last stage).

Step by Step

Let’s assume that Anna is the SL first name of the clothing owner and she is currently fully dressed (stage-1). Let’s also assume that Bill is the SL first name of the toucher, and he selects strip in the menu. The cloth will go to stage-2 (from stage-1), and emoting will get processed as following:

(related notecard line: stage-2, strip from stage-1)
@tou slowly pulls up @own‘s top, exposing her juicy left boob. Oh wait, look at that sexy left bum too on the back side!

(actual emote in local chat)
Bill slowly pulls up Anna‘s top, exposing her juicy left boob. Oh wait, look at that sexy left bum too on the back side!

If Bill selects strip again in the menu, the cloth will go to stage-3 (from stage-2) and the emoting will get processed as following:

( related notecard Line: stage-3, strip from stage-2)
Working with both hands, @tou skillfully slides @own‘s panties further down, while tugging her top even more. Oh my my, what a view!

(actual emote in local chat)
Working with both hands, Bill skillfully slides Anna‘s panties further down, while tugging her top even more. Oh my my, what a view!

Now, if Bill selects dress in the menu, the cloth will go back to stage-2 (this time from stage-3), and the emoting will get processed as following:

(related notecard line: stage-2, dress from stage-3)
Unwillingly, @tou dresses back @own, but thankfully not enough to fully cover all her yummy parts!

(actual emote in local chat)
Unwillingly, Bill dresses back Anna, but thankfully not enough to fully cover all her yummy parts!

Note that stage-2 gets reached twice, but it emotes different lines depending on whether it was reached from stage-1 or stage-3.

If we continued, same would happen for stage-3 (it would emote a different line if it was reached from stage-4). However, stage-1 (fully dressed) always emotes the first line, while stage-4 (fully stripped) always emotes the last line.

Note also, that the @tou and @own placeholders inside the notecard lines get replaced by the name of the owner (Anna) and the toucher (Bill), respectively, when the lines are actually emoted to the local chat.

6.Q&Α

Q: My cloth stuck to Fully Stripped and is NOT working anymore. Why and what can I do?
A: This happens when you wear multiple sizes at the same time. For example, you wore Legacy and Maitreya (and possibly even more) sizes at the same time. Unpack fresh copies of the offended sizes and the controller prim (if you don’t keep the packed boxes, you can redeliver them in-world or on Marketplace).

Q: Why I don’t get a menu when clicking on my cloth?
A: StripMe+ clothing come with an invisible, separately worn controller prim. Make sure you have it on too.

Q: I am wearing both the cloth and the controller prim, I click and it tells me to wear my cloth! Why is that?
A: When putting on the controller prim or the cloth, it takes them a few seconds to verify they are both worn, so probably you clicked too early (just click again). If that doesn’t work, take off the controller prim or the cloth, put it back on, and wait a few seconds before clicking.

Q: Can I disable StripMe+ functionality while keeping the cloth on?
A: Yes! Keep the cloth on, and detach the controller prim manually (or detach it via the NO MORE menu button, if you want the cloth to be reset to Fully Dressed).

Q: Can I fixate my cloth to a certain strip-stage, and disable StripMe+ functionality?
A: Yes! While wearing both the controller prim and the cloth, use the menu to reach the desired strip-stage, then detach the controller prim manually. Note however that when you put back on the controller prim, the cloth will get reset to Fully Dressed (the same will happen if you take off the cloth and put it back on).

Q. Can I resolve conflicts with other clickable items (spankers, collars, nip rings, etc)?
A: Usually, yes! Most clickable items use invisible prims to define their clickable area. Try to re-adjust one or more of them, or read the Clickable Area section above for info on how to do that with StripMe+ items.

Q: Can I deny access to everyone but me?
Q: Can I grant access only to selected people?
Q:
Can I grant access only to members of a group?
Q:
Can I grant access to everybody?
A: Yes! All these options are available in the ➜ ACCESS sub-menu. Please read the ACCESS section.

Q: Can I turn off the Emoting?
A: Yes, there is an Emoting toggle option in the menu

Q: Can I change the Emoting text?
Q: Can I have different Emoting for different RP situations?
Q:
Can I have non-English Emoting?
A
: Yes, you can! Please read the CUSTOM EMOTING section.

Q: Can I turn off the Auto Genitals?
A:
Yes, there is a Genitals toggle option in the menu.

Q: My genital is listed as supported, I have enabled the Genitals option in the menu, but it is not working.
A:
Please make sure that a) you have the latest version of the genital, b) you are wearing the genital, c) if required by your genital, you have given clearance for StripMe+ to operate on it.

Q: Can I have my genitals staying visible after detaching a StripMe+ product?
A: Yes! Assuming the desired genitals are already visible in the current strip-stage, detach manually both the controller prim and the cloth.

Q: Can I have my genitals staying hidden after detaching a StripMe+ product?
A: Yes! Assuming the desired genitals are already hidden in the current strip-stage, detach manually both the controller prim and the cloth (or detach the controller prim via the NO MORE menu button -this also resets the cloth to Fully Dressed, then detach the cloth).
